The main goal of Freedom Fighters Forever is to contribute to the SatAM community by providing another place for fans and friends to hang out, and most importantly, contribute their stuff!
The majority of FFF's content will be fan-submitted. I would like the site to be a sort of "for the fans, by the fans" type of environment. I hope it will become a hub specifically for Sonic SatAM fan art, graphics, writings (eventually to include fan fictions), games, and other fan stuff! I hope that you, my fellow Sonic fans, will help me realize this vision!
Site History
Freedom Fighters Forever was created in summer of 2007, roughly around mid-July. Having gotten the SatAM DVD boxset, my childhood love for the show was once again fully-renewed. Something struck me to create a fan site dedicated to the show. Sadly, I got off to an extremely rocky start... the first couple of layouts weren't designed all that well and were.... very GREEN. What can I say? I like green!
During the first couple of months, the site had very, very little to show. However, I started meeting a lot of great people over at SaturdayMorningSonic.com and they were really supportive of me and my efforts on FFF. Even if my layout was sickly-looking! :p
Unfortunately, Freedom Fighters Forever and I took a half-year hiatus and lay destroyed and defuncted... but not defeated! I'd learned a good deal about web design during those months, and though far from a pro, I decided to get my act together and clean up Freedom Fighters Forever. I devised a new layout that I hope is easier on the eyes (I chose a dismal-ish gray theme in order for the colorful images to really stand out).
Now, with a newfound drive, here I am, back to the SatAM scene and ready to display everyone's awesome fan work for the world to see!
Mid-Spring 2008
Held a contest for a Spring-Themed banner and used it to kick off a new, BRIGHTLY COLORED, BLINDINGLY HAPPY SPRING LAYOUT!
